Joel McMahon

Joel McMahon is a seasoned cybersecurity professional with significant experience in incident response and security analysis. Currently serving as a Senior Cyber Security Incident Responder at Flutter Entertainment Plc since March 2023, Joel contributes to the development of cross-divisional incident management capabilities. Prior to this role, Joel held various positions at Flutter UK & Ireland, including Senior Detection Engineer and Security Operations Brand Lead, following the acquisition of Sky Betting & Gaming, where key responsibilities included configuring security tools and monitoring security events. Joel began a career in cybersecurity as a Senior Security Analyst at BAE Systems Applied Intelligence and has also worked at the University of Derby IT Services. Joel holds a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Forensics and Security from the University of Derby.
