Michael Maibaum

Michael Maibaum is a seasoned technology leader with extensive experience in architectural roles across various organizations. Currently, Michael serves as Managing Director of Platform Technology at Flutter Entertainment Plc, overseeing a team of approximately 350 at PokerStars. Prior to this, Michael held significant positions such as Technology Evolution Director for the UK & Ireland and Group Deputy Chief Architect at The Stars Group, as well as Chief Architect and Principal Architect roles at Sky Betting & Gaming. Michael has a strong background in data systems engineering and architecture, with notable experience in implementing large-scale integration and transformation programs. Michael's academic credentials include a PhD in Genetics and Immunology from Imperial College London along with a BSc in Genetics from the University of Nottingham.
