Ricardo Barbosa

Ricardo Barbosa is an accomplished engineering manager currently leading the Risk & Trading Catalogue Management tribe within the Fanduel division of Flutter Entertainment Plc. Since joining Flutter in October 2021, Ricardo has played a key role in defining and executing strategies to scale engineering teams aimed at expanding the company's Online Sportsbook presence across the United States. Previously, Ricardo held positions as an assistant professor at Instituto Superior de Engenharia do Porto, a quality manager at FARFETCH, and a vehicle software team manager at Veniam, where responsibilities included managing software services and leading teams. Additionally, Ricardo has extensive experience in aerospace, having worked as a technical manager at CRITICAL Software and participating in significant R&D projects and safety assessments for various space and aviation organizations. Ricardo holds a Licenciatura in Computer Science from Instituto Superior de Engenharia do Porto.
