Vivek Mangalam

Vivek Mangalam is a Senior Optical Engineer with extensive experience in designing and testing optical systems, particularly in the fields of free space laser communication for both ground applications and satellites. Currently at Flux Computing since May 2025, Vivek previously worked at Transcelestial Technologies from January 2019 to April 2025, where responsibilities included developing bench-top optical assemblies and leading the assembly setup for large-scale manufacturing. Educationally, Vivek holds a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Photonics and a Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) in Electrical and Electronics Engineering, both from Nanyang Technological University Singapore.
