Mario Cao

Mario Cao is currently the Head of Research & Principal Engineer at SEDA and a Postgraduate Lecturer at Universidad Carlos III de Madrid. With a background in Fintech, Mario has previously held positions such as Head of Engineering at Witnet Foundation, Tech Lead at BNP Paribas Fortis, and Tech Lead at WeHack in Wemanity Group. Mario's expertise includes security software engineering for international projects, software design and development for the European Space Agency, and participation in national and European projects in the field of next-generation networks. Mario holds a Ph.D. in Telematic Systems Engineering from Universidad Politécnica de Madrid, among other advanced degrees in engineering.
