Alejandro Alessi

Alejandro Alessi has extensive work experience in the technology industry. Alejandro is currently the Head of Technology at Flux IT, a position they have held since April 2023. Prior to that, they served as the Director of Engineering at Tul from October 2021 to March 2023. In this role, they managed multiple squads in the Fintech vertical and reported to the SVP of Technology.

Before joining Tul, Alejandro worked at Intraway as a Principal Software Architect from April 2019 to October 2021. Alejandro was responsible for making software architecture decisions considering business unit P&L and product strategy. Alejandro also provided guidance and leadership to engineering teams in designing and improving agile practices.

Prior to their time at Intraway, Alejandro held the position of Director of Engineering at QSocialNow: Social Media Analytics from June 2009 to April 2019. In this role, they managed a team of over 25 collaborators and oversaw various types of teams, including dev, test, data science, data visualization, support, and operations. Alejandro was also involved in recruiting.

Alejandro's work experience also includes founding and managing their own software factory startup, Habilis3, from June 2009 to June 2012. Additionally, they worked as an Engineering Manager at Apernet from February 2008 to March 2009 and at Tata Consultancy Services from August 2006 to February 2008. Alejandro began their career as a Software Architect at OSDE from November 2004 to August 2006 and as a Software Development Methodology Consultant at Pragma Consultores from July 2004 to September 2004.

Alejandro'searly experience includes working as an Engineering Manager at Movicom BellSouth from June 2002 to July 2004 and as a Software Engineer at the same company from September 1998 to June 2002. In these roles, they were involved in various projects involving migration of telco management systems, software development in multiple languages and technologies, and software design and analysis.

Alejandro Alessi completed their undergraduate education from 1996 to 2000 at the Universidad Tecnológica Nacional, where they obtained a degree in Information Systems Engineering. In 2019, they commenced pursuing a Master of Business Administration (MBA) at the University of Buenos Aires, specializing in Business Administration and Management, and they are currently working on their thesis. Following this, in 2021, Alessi enrolled at the Instituto Tecnológico de Buenos Aires to pursue a Diploma of Education in the field of Deep Learning, which they are expected to complete in 2022.
