Hortense O.

Hortense O. has a diverse work experience. Hortense started as a Project Manager at ProG'HEI in 2012, then moved on to volunteer at First Light India in 2011. In 2013, they worked as a Software Engineer at Sherbrooke University. In 2014, they were employed as a Software Development Engineer at Thales in the Embedded Software Tools Department. Hortense then joined Airbus Helicopters in 2015, where they held various roles including R&D Project Coordinator, Project Coordinator, and Software Development Engineer. In 2021, Hortense O. began working at Revelstoke Mountain Resort as a Customer Service Supervisor, and then moved on to Au Sommet du Fjord as a Tourist Establishment Manager. Most recently, they were hired as the Lodge Assistant Manager at Bison Lodge Revelstoke in 2022, and is currently employed as a Product Manager/Owner at Flyability since 2023.

Hortense O. received their Engineer Diploma from HEI - Hautes Etudes d'Ingénieur in IT and innovation management from 2010 to 2015. Hortense then went on to pursue a Ph.D degree in computer science, with a focus on Modelisation and Simulation, at Université Polytechnique Hauts-de-France, which they completed in 2020. In 2022, they obtained a SuperHost® certification from Go2HR.ca in Gestion du service client and also participated in a Chance program for Exploration de carrières / sensibilisation des compétences.
