Nicolas Serafini has held a number of roles in the software engineering industry since 2002. Nicolas began their career as a Research Assistant at the University of Applied Science (HES-SO) and the Hôpitaux Universitaires de Genève in 2002 and 2005 respectively. In 2006, they took on the role of Software Engineer at IEN, followed by a similar role at EIC2 SA in 2007. From 2009 to 2014, they worked as an R&D Embedded Software Engineer at Debiotech SA, where they were responsible for software leader on peritoneal dialysis device development, multi processor software system architecture and development in C/C++ for ARM, DSP and µC, embedded Linux board support package development, and software project documentation in medical context. Nicolas then moved to senseFly in 2014, where they held the roles of Senior Embedded Firmware Engineer and R&D Project Manager. Most recently, in 2021, they joined Flyability as a Senior Embedded Firmware Engineer.
