Steven Perhirin has worked in a variety of roles in the electronics and engineering fields since 2006. From 2006 to 2007 they worked as an Electrotechnician for ENAG. From 2007 to 2010 they worked as a Green House Supervisor for Anjou Automation. In 2010 they worked as a Research Assistant in Microwave Frequency for the Research Center Griffith University and as a Collaborator/PhD Student in Electronics for IFREMER. From 2010 to 2014 they worked as a Lecturer and Electronics Hardware/Firmware Engineer - Technical Project Manager for Ecole Nationale d'Ingénieurs de Brest (ENIB). From 2015 to 2018 they worked as an Electronics Hardware/Firmware Engineer - Technical Project Manager for ENERGYENCE SA, and from 2018 to present they have worked as a Senior Electronic/Firmware Engineer and Lead Electronics Hardware/Firmware Engineer for Flyability.

Steven Perhirin completed their Associate's degree in Electrotechnics from Le Likes, Quimper in 2005-2007. Steven then went on to pursue a Bachelor's degree in Electronics, Electricity and Automation (EEA) from Universit\u00e9 de Bretagne Occidentale in 2007-2008. Steven followed this up with a Master's degree in Electronics of Communicating Systems from School Of Engineering And Business, Raahe, Finlande in 2008-2009 and Universit\u00e9 de Bretagne Occidentale in 2009-2010. Finally, they completed their PhD in Electronics/Optics systems from Universit\u00e9 de Bretagne Occidentale in 2010-2013.
