Alexandre Cherpillod has a diverse work experience across different companies. Alexandre started their career as an Intern R&D at senseFly in 2013, followed by a short-term role as an Engineer R&D in 2014. In 2015, they joined EPFL / Laboratory of Intelligent Systems (LIS) as an intern before becoming a PhD student and later a Scientific / Project Assistant. In 2017, Alexandre worked as an Engineer R&D at Foldaway haptics. Alexandre then co-founded Flybotix in 2019, where they initially served as the Co-founder & CTO until 2020. Currently, they are the Co-founder & Operations Manager at Flybotix starting from 2021.
Alexandre Cherpillod obtained a Bachelor's degree in Microengineering from EPFL (École polytechnique fédérale de Lausanne) between 2009 and 2012. Alexandre then pursued a Master's degree in Robotics & Autonomous Systems at EPFL from 2012 to 2014. In 2014, they participated in a Master project at Caltech. Additionally, in August 2018, they obtained a certification in Innosuisse Business Creation Advanced Engineering from Venturelab.
