Leonardo Cencetti

Leonardo Cencetti is an experienced engineer specializing in robotics and research and development. Currently serving as an R&D Engineer at Flybotix since February 2023, Leonardo previously worked as a Robotics Engineer at Freshape, contributing to the development of algorithms and testing setups for embedded devices. Earlier roles included a trainee position at EPFL, where Leonardo developed online estimation algorithms for modular drone platforms, and an internship at ESA/ESTEC focused on localization and autonomous navigation for rovers. Leonardo's educational credentials include a Master's degree in Robotics and a Minor in Space Technologies from EPFL, along with a Bachelor's degree in Electronics and Communications Engineering from Politecnico di Torino. Additional international experience includes studies at Tongji University.
