Alan Young

Alan Young is an experienced aviation professional currently serving as a B1 at flydubai since April 2024. Prior expertise includes roles as a B1 Engineer at Ryanair from November 2022 to April 2024, and at West Atlantic AB as a Station Controller from February 2022 to November 2022. Alan Young has a significant tenure at Ryanair, previously working from June 2019 to February 2022 as both a B1 Engineer and a Station Engineer, the latter position becoming redundant due to COVID-19. Prior to this, Alan held the position of Station Engineering/Regional Manager (North) at Flybe Aviation Services from August 2017 to June 2019, and served as a Station Engineer at Flybe from May 2015 to July 2017. Alan's career began in the Royal Air Force (RAF), where from October 1989 to May 2015, Alan held the roles of an EASA B1 Licensed Aircraft Engineer with Company Approval and Aircraft Engineer.
