Robert Bowyer

Robert Bowyer has worked in various roles since 1998. Robert began their career at Cambridge Consultants as a Senior Consultant. In 2005, they moved to Red Bull Racing & Red Bull Technology as a Team Leader. Robert then worked as a Control Engineering Specialist at Vestas from 2009 to 2009, before transitioning to an Independent Consultant as a Chartered Engineer. In 2014, they joined McLaren Applied Technologies as Chief Engineer and, in 2019, they became the Chief Technical Officer at Flylogix.

Robert Bowyer's education history includes a DPhil in Engineering Science from the University of Oxford obtained between 1994 and 1997, and a BSc(Eng)(Hons) in Electrical & Electronics from the University of Cape Town obtained between 1990 and 1994. Robert also holds certifications as a Chartered Engineer (CEng) and a Fellow of the Institution of Engineering and Technology (FIET) from the Institution of Engineering and Technology (IET).
