Phil Herget is the Partner and Co-Founder of Ardent Venture Partners, an early-stage venture capital firm focused on AI-native applications, vertical SaaS, and B2B fintech. Previously, between 1992 and 2017, they served as Co-Managing Partner at Columbia Capital, where they played a significant role in numerous successful acquisitions. Phil also chaired the Board of Directors at VUBIQUITY from 2009 to 2018 and continues to enhance investments through Avonlea Capital and Flytedesk. They earned an MBA from UNC Kenan-Flagler Business School and a BA in History from the University of Virginia.
