David Lladro

David Lladro has extensive experience in security engineering, holding various leadership positions at Flywire from August 2018 to April 2025, including Vice President of Security Engineering and Senior Director of Security. Responsibilities included defining secure architectures, improving IaaS cloud security, drafting security requirements, and overseeing change and integration reviews. Prior to Flywire, David served as a Senior Information Security Engineer at Grupo Sothis, where duties encompassed SIEM, pentesting, secure architecture, and consulting, and at Mercadona, focusing on firewalls, forensics, and malware analysis. David holds a dual degree in Computer Science and Communications Engineering from the University of Valencia, earned between January 2004 and January 2011.
