Diego Fonzo

Diego Fonzo is a seasoned professional in the field of application security and information security, currently serving as Senior Engineering Manager for Application Security at Flywire since February 2024. Previously, Diego held the position of Manager of Product Security Engineering at Salesforce, leading the Heroku product security team and enhancing the Secure SDLC. Diego’s career also includes roles such as Senior Security Operations Manager at BASE4 Security, where strategic development of security processes was emphasized, and extensive experience in advisory roles focusing on offensive and defensive security through positions at Itaú Unibanco as Head of Information Security and DineroMail as Chief Information Security Officer. Diego holds a Master of Business Administration from Universidad de Palermo and a Master of Engineering in Systems Engineering from Universidad Abierta Interamericana, showcasing a strong academic foundation to complement comprehensive practical experience in security governance, risk management, and compliance.
