Eric Schmitt

Eric Schmitt is a Senior Application Security Engineer at Flywire, bringing extensive expertise in application security, risk management, and secure coding practices. With a background as a Surface Warfare Officer in the US Navy, Eric developed leadership and technical skills while managing risk and security programs. Previously, Eric served as a Sr. IT Security Analyst at Steelcase, directing global application security efforts, and as an Information Security Specialist at Intel Corporation, where they facilitated secure application training and developed a static code analysis tool. Eric holds a BS in Naval Science from Iowa State University and an MS in Computer Science from Knowledge Systems Institute.
