George Popescu

George Popescu is an experienced engineering manager currently serving at Flywire since November 2017, where responsibilities have included leading mobile development. Prior to this role, George worked as a technical lead in mobile development at VIAIQ and has a strong background as an Android developer at Lateral Inc. and Linkscreens. Starting a career in software development as a Java developer at AdvenSIS Software, George has a solid foundation in Android applications and web technologies. Educational qualifications include a Master of Engineering in Distributed Computing and Computer Networks, as well as a Bachelor of Engineering in Information Technology, both from the Technical University of Cluj Napoca.
