Sakimi Samuels currently serves as the MLRO ANZ for Flywire and Cohort Solutions since March 2023, after a long tenure at MoneyGram International starting in April 2014, where responsibilities include overseeing regulatory compliance in Anti-Money Laundering (AML), Counter-Terrorism Financing (CTF), sanctions, and financial crimes across Australia, New Zealand, and the Pacific Islands. Previous experience includes a role in legal/regulatory compliance at AUSTRAC from January 2011 to March 2014, focusing on AML/CTF for the Federal Government, and legal functions at Westpac from 2001 to 2009.
