Sam Horne

Sam Horne is an experienced engineering manager currently working at Flywire since July 2022. Previously held positions include technical lead at Cohort Go, head of engineering at Vygo, and software development consultant at PackMojo, where an overhaul of the web-based customer ordering system was implemented. Sam has also contributed as a .NET developer at the Australian Taxation Office and the Department of Transport and Main Roads, where a real-time public transport solution was delivered. As co-founder and development lead of Trackn, a music-sharing app, and as a software engineer at the Australian Tourism Data Warehouse, diverse technical skills were applied to various projects. Sam's career began with a web developer role at James Cook University after earning a Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology from QUT.
