Alyssa Weeks

Alyssa Weeks is a Consultant Engineer I at FM since July 2025, bringing valuable experience from previous roles as a Research Fellow at Lehigh University from May 2022 to May 2025. In the Gilchrist Lab, Alyssa conducted research on the deposition of hair care ingredients in partnership with Dow Chemicals Co. Additionally, Alyssa led a project focused on semiconductor coatings and the effects of various solutions on conductivity, while also managing data organization and progress discussions. Another project involved studying particle behavior in solvents of differing viscosities. As a dedicated member of the National Society of Black Engineers (NSBE), Alyssa held several leadership roles, including Membership Chair, President, and Academic Excellence Chair, where responsibilities ranged from organizing personalized study plans to managing cross-functional teams and collaborating with other NSBE chapters. Alyssa earned a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering from Lehigh University in 2025.
