Jae-Heon Lee

Jae-heon Lee is a Senior Research Scientist at FMC Corporation, with a career spanning over a decade in biosynthetic research and natural product chemistry. Prior experience includes postdoctoral fellowships at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, where research focused on phosphonic acid antibiotics and thiazole/oxazole-modified microcins, and Vanderbilt University, concentrating on the biosynthesis of pharmacophores by microorganisms. Jae-heon Lee has also served as a Graduate Research Assistant at the University of Utah, engaging in the identification of biosynthetic pathways, protein optimization, and the characterization of enzymes and small molecules. Educational qualifications include a Ph.D. in Biology and an M.S. in Civil Engineering from the University of Utah, as well as a B.S. in Microbiology from Jeonju University.
