Lars K. Ottesen

Lars K. Ottesen is a seasoned professional in organic chemistry with extensive experience in project management and synthesis development. Since April 2015, Lars has held positions at FMC Corporation as Laboratory Team Leader and Project Manager/Senior Organic Chemist, where responsibilities include the development of new chemical processes and project leadership. Prior to this, Lars served as Group Manager for Synthesis Development at both FMC Corporation and Cheminova A/S, overseeing daily operations within synthesis teams. Earlier in the career, Lars worked as a Development Chemist focused on process optimization and chemical support, and contributed to drug discovery as a Senior Associate Scientist at Acadia Pharmaceuticals. Lars completed a Ph.D. in Organic Chemistry at the University of Copenhagen and holds an MSc in Medicinal Chemistry from Aarhus University.
