Mingcan Zhang

Mingcan (Michael) Zhang is an accomplished professional in government affairs with extensive experience in managing relationships between businesses and governmental entities in China. Currently serving as the Head of China Government Affairs at FMC Corporation since July 2018, Zhang previously held key positions such as Director of EHS, Government & Public Affairs for Greater China at Heraeus and Director of Government Affairs at Harley-Davidson Motor Company. Zhang’s career began at Zhenjiang New Area as Department Head, focusing on investment promotion, and includes a solid foundation in public affairs management from WACKER. Educational background includes an International MBA from IE Business School and a Bachelor's degree in English from Chongqing University.
