Moumita Kar

Moumita Kar is a seasoned Research Scientist with extensive experience in the design of targets for fungicide, insecticide, and nematicide discovery. Currently employed at FMC Corporation since November 2017, Moumita has successfully managed programs from conception to development. Prior roles include positions at DowDuPont and Dupont, where similar responsibilities were undertaken. Initial experience as a Project Fellow at Chembiotek Research International involved synthesis of multistep schemes and handling sensitive molecules. Educational credentials include a Post Doctoral Research degree in Synthetic Organic Chemistry and Medicinal Chemistry from Scripps Research, and a Ph.D. in Synthetic Organic and Bio-Organic Chemistry from the Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur.
