Philip Tanabe

Philip Tanabe is a Global Regulatory Ecotoxicologist at FMC Corporation, drawing on a robust background in environmental toxicology and analytical chemistry. They earned a Ph.D. in Environmental Toxicology from the University of California, Riverside, where their research focused on mechanisms of toxicity and the development of adverse outcome pathways for risk assessments. With seven years of experience handling various chemicals, Philip has worked with notable organizations such as NOAA, EPA, and USGS, contributing to ecotoxicology projects and mentoring aspiring scientists. Having published 15 peer-reviewed articles and presented at 25 symposiums, they are committed to advancing their knowledge and skills in toxicology, with aspirations to achieve DABT certification. Currently, Philip also serves as a Research Adjunct Faculty at the College of Charleston, mentoring graduate students and overseeing research projects.
