Rodrigo Ramirez possesses extensive experience in the field of chemistry, beginning as a Research Assistant at Instituto Nacional de Enfermedades Respiratorias from June 1999 to June 2000, where analysis focused on protein expression and activity related to lung fibrosis. Following this, from August 2007 to October 2014, Rodrigo served as a Graduate Research Assistant at Texas A&M University, conducting research on electrophilic metal species and their catalytic applications. Subsequent postdoctoral roles at Max-Planck-Institute für Kohlenforschung and Stockholm University involved the development of catalytic reactions and transition metal catalysts. From September 2018 to December 2022, Rodrigo worked as a Synthetic Chemist and Senior Scientist at Cambrex Karlskoga AB, and currently holds the position of Formulation Scientist at FMC Corporation since September 2024. Rodrigo obtained a Bachelor's degree in Chemistry from Universidad Nacional Autonoma de Mexico and a Ph.D. in Chemistry from Texas A&M University.
