Xiaoyan Wang

Xiaoyan Wang is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in research and development within the environmental science and analytical chemistry fields. Currently serving as a Senior Global R&D Scientist at FMC Corporation since October 2016, Xiaoyan specializes in the identification and structural elucidation of impurities and intermediates using high-resolution accurate mass spectrometry. Prior to this role, Xiaoyan worked as an Environmental Analytical Specialist at UCT Inc from August 2010 to October 2016, where product development and improvement of solid-phase extraction and QuEChERS products were key responsibilities. Earlier career experience includes serving as a Semi-Volatile Supervisor at Long Island Analytical Labs from October 2005 to August 2010, overseeing staff training and sample preparation techniques. Xiaoyan holds a Ph.D. in Environmental Science from the New Jersey Institute of Technology and a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Physics from the University of Science and Technology of China.
