FMD Consultants BV is a consultancy group with long term experience in the scaling-up of participatory training and research approaches in the field and on institutional support to organisations in the implementation of sustainable development programmes world-wide. Over the years, FMD has developed three complementary skills: research, consulting and training.

FMD has carried out assignments for EC, DGIS, FAO, FIDA, AfDB, World Bank, Finnida, Sida, GTZ among others. Many project staff and researchers followed international courses given by FMD staff. 

Marc P. Lammerink has published several books and many articles on action research, sustainable development and popular education.
