FM/Derraik was born from a meeting of professionals at a request of a mutual client: a capital company was looking for legal advisors to guide in one of the most mature innovation journeys in the Brazilian market. The client asked that lawyers from different firms work side by side on the same project.

FM/Derraik partners, then in their respective firms, were treading very close ways until this intersection - created by the client, made clear the complementarity of their profiles and the synergy of this union: the coexistence of innovation with experience. The harmonization of creativity with pragmatism and the constant search for sophistication with legal depth.
