Mark Spils

Mark Spils is a senior data scientist and chief economist at FME, where they focus on developing AI-driven models and managing stakeholder collaborations. They hold a PhD and MSc in Economics from Universität Mannheim and a BSc from Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam. Previously, they served as a tutor and teaching assistant, and contributed to economic research at the EPoS Collaborative Research Center. Mark has also represented FME in international economic forums, emphasizing data-driven strategies for value creation.
