Peter Schellekens

Peter Schellekens is an experienced project manager with a strong background in supply chain optimization and agricultural innovation. Currently serving as Project Manager for Agriculture, Water, and Food at FME since January 2024, Peter coordinates the NXTGEN Hightech Handsfree Agrifood ecosystem, focusing on knowledge dissemination and data infrastructure to support project partners. Prior to this role, Peter was a Project Manager at Koppert, where supply chain digitization and the implementation of Microsoft Dynamics 365 were key achievements. Earlier experiences include leadership in packaging and sourcing at Bakker Barendrecht B.V., as well as a stint in science recruitment at Oxford Global Resources. Peter holds a Master's degree in Plant Sciences & Natural Products and a Bachelor's degree in Biology from Leiden University.
