Policy Advisor Occupational Safety & Health And Environment at FME

Robert van Beek has extensive experience in policy advisory roles within the energy, environment, occupational safety, and recycling sectors. Currently serving as the FME policy advisor for Energy & Environment since January 2018, Robert also holds a long-standing position as policy advisor for Occupational Safety & Health and Environment at FME-CWM since January 2009. In leadership capacities, Robert is the Chairman of Stichting Metalektro Recycling and a board member of Stichting Samenwerken voor Veiligheid and Stichting Bedrijfsverpakkingen Nederland. Robert previously managed projects focused on improving workplace conditions in the metal sector and held roles at both the Ministry of Finance and Nedvang, where efforts were directed toward sustainable packaging and recycling initiatives. Robert's educational background includes a Master’s degree in Environmental Science & Protection from the University of Lincolnshire & Humberside and an engineering degree from the Amsterdam University of Applied Sciences.
