Lee Smither is the Managing Director of FMI, where they focus on Strategic Research and Planning, Business Development, and Account Management for the Top 100 Engineering and Construction firms in the US. They have managed FMI's management consulting group, the nation's largest consulting firm dedicated exclusively to the engineering and construction industry. Previously, Lee served as a Senior Financial Analyst at Carolina Power & Light from 1983 to 1988. Lee holds an MBA in Finance from East Carolina University and a BA in Economics with a minor in Chemistry from NC State University.
