Leslie Appleton-Young is a seasoned Chief Economist and housing advocate with a strong background in strategic planning and real estate market analysis. They earned a Master’s degree in Economics from the University of Pennsylvania between 1974 and 1981. Leslie served as a VP and Chief Economist at the California Association of REALTORS from 1984 until 2025 and is currently the Chief Economist at FMLS.
