Cathalijn N. has extensive experience at FMO, the Dutch entrepreneurial development bank, beginning in 2000 and advancing to the role of Senior Investment Officer since January 2005. Responsibilities include origination, structuring, contracting, and monitoring direct investments and private equity funds across Asia. Previously, in the role of Senior Portfolio Analyst Private Equity, Cathalijn managed an equity portfolio, conducted quarterly and annual client reviews, and redesigned administrative processes. Additionally, Cathalijn contributed to new business activities by analyzing potential clients and assisting with due diligence and credit approval. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor's and Master's degree in Economics and Business from Erasmus University Rotterdam, and a Master's and Propedeuse degree focused on African Studies and African Languages from Leiden University. Early education includes a VWO diploma from RSG Gouda and attendance at Arundel High School in Harare, Zimbabwe.
