Fieke de Jong

Fieke de Jong is an experienced environmental and social officer currently employed at FMO, the Dutch entrepreneurial development bank, since November 2020, where responsibilities include conducting environmental and social due diligence for global projects. Previously, Fieke served as a senior social safeguards consultant at Mott MacDonald, focusing on lenders' advisory roles and compliance within the renewable energy sector. Earlier experience includes a role as a social scientist at GCS Groundwater Consulting Services, specializing in social assessments and Resettlement Action Plans, and as an environmental consultant at Exigo3, where tasks involved compiling Integrated Water Use License Application reports. Volunteer experience includes assisting with fair trade certification at Madi a Thavha Mountain Lodge. Fieke's academic background includes an MA from King's College London and two degrees from Wageningen University & Research in International Development Studies.
