Geert Fijnaut

Geert Fijnaut has a diverse work experience in the finance sector. Geert is currently the Head of Private Equity - Energy at FMO, a Dutch entrepreneurial development bank. Previously, they held various positions at ASN Bank, including Team Leader Project Finance and Senior Account Manager. Before that, they worked as a Senior Account Manager at Triodos Bank and as an Account Manager at ABN AMRO Bank N.V. Geert also has experience in credit insurance and international debt collection from their roles at Segdwick Nederland BV and NCM NV, respectively.

Geert Fijnaut began their education in 1989 at Leiden University, where they completed their Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree in Civil Law in 1995. In the same year, they briefly attended the University of Florida to study Law, focusing on International Law, Estates & Trusts, and Business Organisations.
