Maria Tsabal

Maria Tsabal is a seasoned legal professional with extensive experience in banking, finance, and project finance. Currently serving as Legal Counsel for Project Finance at FMO since July 2023, Maria specializes in advising on project finance and innovative energy investments. Previous roles include Vice President and Head of Legal at Deutsche Bank Ukraine, where Maria also held the position of Data Protection Officer, and of counsel at AEQUO Law Firm, focusing on banking and finance matters. With a strong foundation in cross-border finance from positions at AVELLUM, EBRD, Sayenko Kharenko, Clifford Chance, and Baker & McKenzie, Maria has deep expertise in securing debt financing, regulatory compliance, and corporate governance. Maria holds an LLM in Banking and the Law of Finance from UCL, alongside a Pre-Masters and BA with Honors in Law from the National University of Kyiv-Mohyla Academy.
