Matthew MacDevette is currently a Senior Sustainable Finance Officer at FMO, the Dutch entrepreneurial development bank. Previously, Matthew served as a Private Sector Development Adviser at the Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office from 2019 to 2023 and contributed as a Freelance Researcher to Associate Professor Richard Calland's book on South Africa in 2013. Matthew also gained experience through roles at Kaiser Associates and Oxfam, and pursued advanced studies in politics, economics, and environmental policy across multiple prestigious institutions, including the University of Oxford and the University of Cape Town.
