Michel Scheepens

Michel Scheepens is an accomplished international structured finance/project financier with over 15 years of experience in the Infrastructure, Utilities, Power, and Renewable Energy sectors. They currently serve as the Head of Energy for the West-Africa and MENA regions at FMO, where they also held the position of Senior Investment Officer. Michel has a strong background in managing and overseeing more than 25 projects across EMEA and CIS, having previously worked as a Director at ING and an Associate Director at Peregrine Corporate Finance. They hold degrees in Economics and Near and Middle Eastern Studies, having studied at prestigious institutions including Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam and SOAS, University of London.
