Saara Wasama

Saara Wasama is a professional with extensive experience in strategy and finance. Currently serving as a Strategy Officer at FMO - Dutch entrepreneurial development bank since April 2023, Saara previously held multiple positions at ABN AMRO Bank N.V. from September 2018 to March 2023, including Advisor and Senior Associate in the Group Strategy Office, as well as roles in Trade and Commodity Finance. Saara's early career includes internships and research assistant roles at renowned organizations such as Rotterdam School of Management, European Commission, and CRH, alongside part-time coaching in water polo and lifeguarding. Saara holds a Master of Science in Finance and Investments from Rotterdam School of Management and Bachelor's degrees in Economics and Business Administration from Aalto University and St. Petersburg State University.
