Taras Stasiv

Taras Stasiv is a seasoned legal professional with extensive experience in providing legal and policy advice across various financial sectors. Currently serving as Senior Legal Counsel at FMO, the Dutch entrepreneurial development bank, since October 2019, Taras advises on debt investments in diverse regions including Africa, Asia, Eastern Europe, and Latin America. Prior experience includes a notable role at the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) from August 2012 to September 2019, where Taras handled transactions related to lending, investment, and debt restructuring across Central and Eastern Europe, the CIS, and North Africa. Earlier career stages involved advising multinational financial institutions on banking and finance matters while working at CMS Cameron McKenna and CMS Derks Star Busmann. Academic qualifications include an LLM from the University of Amsterdam and a Master’s Degree in Law from Ivan Franko National University of Lviv.
