Timothy Hoffmann

Timothy Hoffmann has a strong background in software engineering, with experience in various roles and companies. Timothy is currently working as a Senior Software Engineer at FM:Systems since April 2020. Prior to that, they worked as a Software Developer at Asure Software from September 2019 to April 2020.

From 2015 to 2019, Timothy worked at Data Masons Software as a Senior Application Developer, where they supported and developed the Vantage Point application and other Data Masons EDI programs. Timothy used programming languages such as C#, Visual Basic 6, Pascal, and React/TypeScript. Timothy also created APIs with OAuth2 authentication and used Entity Framework to access SQL Server.

Before that, Timothy had a contract position as a Site Reliability Engineer at Insight Global, where they supported Microsoft Dynamics and developed PowerShell scripts for automated support processes. Timothy also worked on MVC/Forms application development related to dashboards and Email SPF1 analysis.

In 2015, Timothy briefly worked as a Software Developer at Thales and earlier as a Software Engineer at LiveTV from 2014 to 2014.

From 2010 to 2013, they held the position of Lead IP Engineering Consultant at BT, where they were involved in .NET application development and datacenter design and support. Timothy continued working at BT as a Lead IP Engineering Consultant from 2010 to 2011.

Timothy's career started at United Computing Services in 1980 as a Programmer, and they moved on to Power Computing in 1990, where they worked as a Programmer, programming on CDC Cyber and IBM VM & MVS mainframes, and supporting Netware client and servers.

From 1994 to 2010, Timothy worked at Infonet Services Corporation (later renamed BT Infonet) as an Infrastructure Architect. Timothy managed various support groups, Design and support Infonet data center and desktop networks, and worked on Lotus Notes and Tools Development.

Timothy Hoffmann obtained a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from the University of Minnesota, where they studied from 1976 to 1980.
