Matteo Neri has a strong background in data science and network analytics. Matteo'smost recent position was as a Senior Data Scientist at FNA, a deep technology company specializing in advanced network analytics and simulations. At FNA, Matteo's role involved uncovering hidden connections and anomalies in large datasets and using simulations to predict the impact of stress events. Prior to this, Matteo worked as a Data Scientist at FNA.
Before joining FNA, Matteo was a PHD Candidate at Central European University, where they conducted research in the field of network and data science. Matteo also held various teaching assistant roles, including Introduction to Programming in Python, Data and Network Visualization, and Statistical Methods. Matteo's academic journey started as a PHD Student at Central European University, where they focused on network and data science.
In 2017, Matteo gained research experience as a Research Intern at CMLA - ENS Cachan, and prior to that, they worked as a Research Intern at INFN - Dipartimento di Fisica e Astronomia (Università di Bologna) in 2014.
Matteo Neri completed their education history as follows:
From 2017 onwards, Matteo pursued a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Network Science at Central European University.
From 2015 to 2017, they obtained a Master of Science (M.Sc.) degree in Physics of Complex Systems from Université Paris-Saclay.
Between 2011 and 2015, Matteo attended Alma Mater Studiorum – Università di Bologna, where they earned a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree in Physics.
Prior to their university education, Matteo completed their high school education at Liceo Torricelli - Faenza from 2006 to 2011. Matteo obtained a High School Scientific Diploma, specializing in Liceo Scientifico P.N.I. Matematica e Fisica.
Furthermore, Matteo also obtained several certifications to enhance their skills and broaden their knowledge base:
In March 2017, they completed the "Git Essential Training" certification from LinkedIn.
Also in March 2017, they completed the "Introduction to Data Analysis with Python" certification from LinkedIn.
In June 2015, Matteo achieved an IELTS (International English Language Testing System) score of 6.5 after taking the exam through the British Council.
In February 2012, they passed the English level test (B1) conducted by the University of Bologna.
