Phillip Straley has a diverse work experience in the financial services industry. Phillip began their career in 1990 in the field of international trade economics. From 1993 to 2000, they worked at Arthur Andersen / Andersen, where they held positions as Director, Senior Manager, Manager, and Senior Consultant. Phillip then joined IBM in 2000 as a Partner, leading the Risk Management & Compliance division in the Asia-Pacific region. In 2004, they became the Managing Partner and Far East Area Leader of Financial Services Risk Management at Ernst & Young. From 2010 to 2014, they worked at Accenture as a Partner and Asia-Pacific Managing Director in FS Finance & Risk. Phillip then moved to PwC and served as the Managing Partner of Asia-Pacific FS Risk & Regulatory Practice from 2014 to 2016. During that time, they also held the position of President at FNA, a fast-growing technology company specializing in Regulatory and Supervisory Technology. Phillip served on FNA's Advisory Board until 2018. In 2020, Phillip Straley joined Standard Life Aberdeen as an Independent Non-Executive Director and the Chair of the Board Risk Committee for Standard Life Asia.
