Derek Frank

Derek Frank has extensive experience in risk management and operational control within the financial services sector. Currently serving as Head of 1st Line Risk for the UK, Middle East & South Africa at FNZ Group since January 2019, Derek previously held notable positions at BlackRock from August 2014 to January 2019, including Head of European and Asian Cash and Asset Operations. Derek's career also includes significant roles at Barclays as Assistant Vice President of Settlements and at Morgan Stanley, where leadership spanned global projects, international tax operations, and monitoring client trade settlements. Derek holds a Master's degree in Pure and Applied Chemistry from the University of Strathclyde, earned between 2000 and 2005.
