Samuel Bennett

Samuel Bennett serves as the APAC Chief Financial Officer for FNZ Group since May 2020, overseeing finance, strategy, corporate development, and M&A functions across the region. Prior to this role, Samuel held the position of Managing Director for strategy and corporate development at FNZ Group, contributing to the company's transformation of wealth management for major financial institutions. Samuel's extensive experience includes a tenure at Lazard from January 2007 to May 2020, where responsibilities included generalist M&A coverage and execution across Southeast and South Asian markets, along with significant involvement in domestic Australian M&A transactions. Samuel holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Chemical Engineering and a Bachelor of Commerce in Finance from the University of Melbourne, as well as additional engineering qualifications from Tsinghua University and the University of California, Berkeley.
