Simon Jones studied computer engineering at the University of Canterbury, graduating in 2017 with First Class Honours. They began their career as a Test Automation Technician at Martin Aircraft Company, before progressing to various roles at FNZ Group, where they currently serve as a Senior Software Developer after previously holding positions as Technical Project Lead and Software Developer. Simon has experience programming in multiple languages, including C, C++, C#, Python, and Javascript, and has a keen interest in embedded development with Arduino and ARM. In addition to their professional work, Simon engages in programming and electronics hobby projects.
