Focal Point is an open creative technology and coworking hub at Richmond House in New Brighton.

We provide bookable desks and a professional workspace for local creatives, freelancers, small businesses and people developing careers in the creative industries. The space is designed to be useful day to day, whether someone needs a desk for occasional work or a more regular base.

Our work goes beyond coworking. We develop creative-tech workshops, education projects and collaborations with organisations across Merseyside. Recent activity has included Visualising Strategy with the Centre for Educational Leadership and creative delivery for Liverpool John Moores University’s Children’s Literature Festival.

Income from commercial and education-focused projects helps us develop practical workshops for young people and create more accessible local routes into creative technology.

Focal Point is part of the regeneration of New Brighton. We have brought existing local infrastructure back into use, worked with businesses and tradespeople from across the Wirral, and are building a hub that can become financially independent while continuing to serve a wider educational purpose.

Desks are now available to book at focal-point.uk.
